Cast No Shadow is a rebrand for a German Spy Museum in Berlin, Germany. This concept captures the idea of what a spy is: an individual who observes, but is rarely identified by our society. They are around, but they can’t be captured, they cast no shadows, their job is to leave no trace or evidence of their true existence. This project showcases exactly that: blurred shapes/lines; shadows and gradients evaporating into thin air. Furthermore, the museum provides people with a unique experience - it is not quite a museum, and not quite an escape room - it is both. Visitors get to learn about the history of spies as they go along applying the knowledge to “unite.spy.survive” in groups. The main graphic elements are shapes that are sticking together, much like the visitors would need to in order to arrive at the correct solution of the game.
